Mararu - butterfly
On the same walk, I spotted this butterfly dining on some plant that I wasn't able to identify. The vines seemed to have been planted along the barbed wire fence, given that they were more or less evenly spaced. The fruits were tiny and had the format of a raspberry, or a fruit of that kind. I showed the images on the monitor of my camera to Sr. Assis, owner of the place. Evidently, he didn't know the name either because he looked once and then looked again, but didn't respond to my question. The next time, I'll ask the caretaker.
