Frogs - foam nests, continued

I would assume that a foam nest is a way to protect eggs from feisty snakes and other predators. It's also a way of keeping them moist. As you can see by contrast with the key chain, there's a lot of foam in one of those nests. Someday I need to do some research to see how many eggs would be in one nest.
