Pajurá, continued

I can't believe that I ate all of these pajurá fruits! Not everyone likes them, but it one of my favorite fruits. In the background you can see samples of the fruit. In the foreground, the seeds, which are quite large. As far as I know, pajurá trees (Couepia bracteosa) are only found in the Amazon, and only some restricted areas at that! Even rarer is the pajurá de Óbidos (Pouteria speciosa), next image.

I've never heard of this fruit before. It must be good if you ate that many. :)
