The Humble Plant

The day I waded through dirty water and mud to get into and out of the Bosque, I felt compensated by some of the flora I encountered on the sides of the road. The "humble plant" (Mimosa pudica) was on stage from the beginning to the end of the hike, and flowering at its best.

The leaves and flowers remind me of the Mimosa/Silk trees we once had in our garden. Smaller obviously, but similar leaf and flower shape.
