Theobroma grandiflorum) provide the curtain for a ficus that has made its way up a large sapucaia tree (
Lecythis pisonis). To keep their small processing plant busy, Paulo and Zilma need a lot of cupuaçu fruit, so it's not surprising that they have planted hundreds of these trees.
