Vanilla - Baunilha
The long cylinder fruit is the vanilla bean. The very pointed single leaves are from the vanilla vine. The larger sunlit leaves in the background are from an unidentified tree.

Dry season in the Amazon
I dream of rain. I pray for rain. I wait anxiously for rain. Our visitors to Bosque Santa Lúcia will be surprised to find a desert in the making when they come for a tour.
