My friend in Goiania, Gene Whitmer, recently sent me a link to an article by a scientist who announced the find of a new species of peccary somewhere here in the Amazon. It reminded me of my two peccary skulls at the Bosque Santa Lucia reception center. The one in the attached image is from an Indian village somewhere along the Amazon River in Peru.
