Tree fungus spreads

Good cosmetics are bestsellers and this rouge for trees has gotten around. Just this week I posted a blog entry of a tree at the Bosque with the same brand name and to my surprise Ginger at http://rosemarybrasil.blogspot.com sent me a photograph she took of a pine tree in Nova Friburgo, way down in southern Brazil. Some fungus expert might distinguish between the fungi, but they appear to be the same to me. Ginger, thanks for the return.
