My neighbor, Lira Maia, seems to have a green thumb. Everything he plants does quite well, including Brazil nut trees (
Bertholletia excelsa). He asked me if he could plant trees and palms on the demarcation lines between our lands a few years ago. I thought nothing would come of it but they're all doing very well. Much better than the ones I planted, that's for sure. I guess some manpower helps. I never had the labor for keeping mine clean.

What do you mean by green thumb?? He is quite responsable for the implementation of the soy bean industry here, which replaced quite a number on secondary and primary forest hectares. He is a dick head. That is what he is.
By "green thumb" I mean that everything the man plants does very well. Doesn't make any difference what it is.
