Vulture's herb

The erva de urubu plants are at their best now. Local informants report that the juice of this berry is good for getting rid of skin fungus, that type that leaves white blotches on our epidermis.

I wonder if they have anything for toe-nail fungus - now a constant problem for me after five years in the humidity of Brasil, and given my refusal to give up tennis shoes for 'flip-flops'.
