Paricá in bloom, continued

I thought it was too bad that I didn't catch the paricá tree in full bloom, but what I didn't see up in the tree, I found down below. The ground was yellow with the blossoms. I know that by now all the blooms have fallen and that the light green color of the new leaves are taking over. From a distance, a paricá tree in bloom looks much like yellow ipê (Tabebuia serratifolia), which doesn't bloom this time of the year. The blossoms are also several times the size of paricá.

It would seem that you grew a good healthy tree there. It must be beautiful in full bloom. It would be fun to watch the birds in it.
