Vitaceae - cissus
Flashes of red in a background of solid green always attract a lot of attention. I wish I could tell you more about this plant but I'm without words. A few years ago, I remember a visitor calling it red milkweed but I haven't been able to confirm it. I've sorted through many internet images but so far I haven't found anything to match the flowers. Most of the images were from North America, so maybe I should refine the search to this part of the world. In the meanwhile, if readers of my blog can help, please do! Correction: 10.09.08, the proper name is Vitaceae - cissus. Thanks to Robin Foster at the Field Museum, Chicago.
