In the past, I've mentioned birds as the chief consumers of jabuticaba (
Myrciaria caulifora) fruit at the Bosque. Now I discover that there are other varmints eating away at the sweet juicy fruit, including wasps. I had never given much thought to wasps being involved in this activity, but there they are supping up what is good in life. In the above image, a wasp returning to dinner.
