I took the opened fruit back to the reception center for a better look. Unfortunately, I didn't think to taste the fruit. When I came back the next day, there was nothing left of the fruit except the pod and some seeds. Some animal liked it.
A most interesting post Steve. Next time please try eating one as I would like to know what they taste like. LOL!! People think I am crazy when I do this myself and keep on saying it might be poisonous, but the rule of thumb I go by is if the birds and monkeys can eat it, so can I. :) I am REALLY not a monkey!! Promise!!
