
I thought it was too bad that I didn't catch the paricá tree in full bloom, but what I didn't see up in the tree, I found down below. The ground was yellow with the blossoms. I know that by now all the blooms have fallen and that the light green color of the new leaves are taking over. From a distance, a paricá tree in bloom looks much like yellow ipê (
Tabebuia serratifolia), which doesn't bloom this time of the year. The blossoms are also several times the size of paricá.

It would seem that you grew a good healthy tree there. It must be beautiful in full bloom. It would be fun to watch the birds in it.
