I'm guessing that this unidentified snake was looking for a place to hide from me. Unfortunately for the snake, the hole wasn't big enough to get out of sight. When I left two hours later, it was still in the same position.

Roommate

I was doing some work on the computer at the Bosque yesterday, when I discovered that I have a roommate. This friendly tarantula climbed upon the top of my table and proceeded to check things out. Only when I started photographing her did she show some urgency in getting out of sight.
