How old is this tucumã-açu palm? If it takes five years for a seed to germinate, then my guess is that it's getting up there in the years. The first time I saw the palm was in 1981 and I don't remember it being any different than today. On another post I'll let you have a better look at the thorns.Thursday, January 18, 2007
