Long horned beetle

Not a very good picture of this long-horned beetle, but it was a one-shot affair. I've never been too keen on using nets, but I can understand how the practice facilitates photography.

Colobothea sp. A large genus of beautifully-marked, day-active longhorns. I collected a number of species in Ecuador.

I think I've got this one figure out now, too - it looks like Colobothea hirtipes, a common species in the Amazonas Region.
