Peccary skull III

You may remember that I referred to the peccary as having been killed. Looking at the skull from this angle, it's obvious that it was indeed killed with with a firearm. I've read that there was a time when this wild pigs roamed the region in large numbers. Likewise, I've read that they were slaughtered in large numbers. No doubt about that! Although these animals still exist in the Amazon, they are not likely to be seen by the average by passer.
