This wild chocolate tree was covered with flowers, almost from the ground up into the branches.

Photo blog of an old gringo at his small forest reserve, Bosque Santa Lúcia, near Santarém - Pará - Brazil. Only 18km from the Amazon and Tapajós Rivers. My question here was why it is called a Wild Chocolate? These are beautiful flowers. Is it a very large tree?
